Experience

David is a founding partner of our firm. He is a Buffalo native and a 1987 graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law. He has been a Registered Professional Nurse since 1980 (currently inactive).

David’s practice focuses on the defense of claims against hospitals and healthcare facilities, medical, dental and other healthcare providers, toxic tort defendants, and other personal injury litigants. He is licensed to practice in New York and has successfully tried numerous cases in the New York court system and has successfully resolved numerous matters through mediations and arbitrations.
Since 2003, David has been a guest lecturer for the D’Youville University Physician Assistant Program, lecturing on Medical Malpractice Prevention.

David has been selected as one of the Legal Elite of Western New York by The Buffalo Law Journal – Business First. He has also been named by Super Lawyers of Upstate New York for medical malpractice defense from 2013-2024. Only 5% of Upstate New York attorneys are named to the Super Lawyers list. He also was the recipient of the 2016 Neil Sherwood Civility Award by the Defense Trial Lawyers Association of Western New York.
